In the example above, the pattern is highlighted in orange for illustrative purposes. The 4 passwords are (clockwise from the top left):
- OaeGkcKT
- 0nwT1tMy
- VeDisLgz
- -bUdq91B
In addition to protecting the dynamic password for Windows, the user can use their Secret Pattern to manage all of their passwords.
The 4Login app includes a password manager that generates passwords up to 24 characters long. The user can customize a generated password by selecting the length of the password and the character sets to be used for the password.
The first 8 characters of the password are displayed in the sequence of 4 cells in the grid that correspond to the user's Secret Pattern.
For passwords that contain more than 8 characters, the additional characters are displayed as a plain string below the Secure Grid Display.
The user can also manually input passwords that they have created independently of the 4Login app. The app will display the first 8 characters of the password in the sequence of 4 cells in the grid that correspond to the user's Secret Pattern - any additional characters will be displayed below the Secure Grid Display
